Postcode speeds

Corrections

  1. Postcode speeds
  2. Corrections

There are two kinds of error on a site like this, and they go to different places.

If a published Ofcom figure looks wrong for your area, it belongs to Ofcom. We copy their percentages without adjusting them, so a correction has to happen at the source and then arrives here with the next accepted release. Ofcom has corrected these files before: the Spring 2026 postcode files were reissued in July 2026 after two postcode areas were duplicated, and we use the corrected version.

If our arithmetic looks wrong, that is ours to fix. A median over the wrong rows, a difference built from two different periods, a rounding allowance that does not match the printed digits, a district shown with fewer than 25 rows behind it, or a figure that cannot be reproduced from the file we kept: those are defects and we want to hear about them.

Tell us the page, the figure and the period you were reading. We keep every accepted file, so any published figure can be reproduced on request. Changes to published figures are listed on the releases page with their date.

What this page does not show

We only include output areas with speed information for at least five lines
